Intent:
math display="block" should be inline blocks like inline code block. Therefore they have to be treated so.

Please have a look and let me know what you think of this! if it look good to you I will submit a PR.

I'm thinking about making the block math follow the inline math and just take different delimiter.

I don't like the idea of all blocks belonging to a paragraph. Sometimes you want to typeset block level math differently from paragraphs, really you ought too have the same freedom with <math display="block"> as you have with <figure>. However it would be nice if this was somehow configurable. Any ideas how are welcome.

From the mathML spec:

Moreover, when the math element is embedded in a larger document, a block math element should be treated as a block element as appropriate for the document type (typically as a new vertical block), whereas an inline math element should be treated as inline (typically exactly as if it were a sequence of words in normal text). In particular, this applies to spacing and linebreaking

So maybe the current behavior is the "correct" one, and a display math should trigger a paragraph break. Either way, configuring this would be nice.
